Hello people. :)
First off -- how's it going? I've not been here in... far too long. I hope everyone's well.

I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice. I'm looking for a good (and ideally, cheap) piece of animation software for Mac OS X. Is Flash my best bet, or are there any other options?

Image Ready won't quite cut it for this... Though I heard Illy CS has some funky SVG capabilities, though I've not used any myself. Can anyone tell me more?

Cheers,
Xan

I really don't have much experience with this sort of thing, but what about these? I have heard of them in passing, but have no real experience with them.

I don't have much experience either, but it might help if you described or posted examples of what you're trying to achieve.

Flash is by far the best. They have Flash 8 now, so you might find its predecessor, Flash MX 2004, relatively cheap.
