Halo 3 Signature

In the gaming world I'm known as Monoxide, so this is my signature on other forums. Leave me a comment or any suggestions.

Does it usually have that black keyline? If so, I think it might look better with out. Also, I would try and repeat the dithering effect you have going on in the top and right, all the way around the image but smaller so it's easier to see whats in the middle.

Other than that, I really like it and im totally digging the texture. I also really like your font treatment!

Also what do you mean by black keyline? Are you talking about the border?

yes, the black keyline means the thin 1 or 2px border around the edge.

It's 1px. I've got an eye for it after making forum signatures for the first 1 1/2 years after I started learning PS.

Sweet forum sigs! I love forum sigs. There's only one thing I like more that forum sig, and that's reviewing forum sigs.

I will admit, unlike most 'signatures' I see this has a focal point and that is a plus. I also like the implied line from the visor to the typography. It leads the eye nivly from the image to the text. I also like the color choices they seem to reasoning in repetition of colors within the photograph. I also like the use of economy(something rarly practiced in signatures). I'm sure this was unintentional but, the use in simultaneos contrast to further emphasis the focal point is also a nice touch.

Other then that not much else to say. Forum signatures arn't really graphic design(in my opinion) more like art and decor for decors sake.

Also the colors are meant to sort of go with my avatar, and I think I accomplished that. In the mean time I'll work on a website template and then post it up here when I'm finished, but you have to remember I'm only 17 so give me a little slack. :D
