My boss is leaving this month for greener pastures. As he is a bit of an amateur photography nut, I thought a digital picture frame --one of those coloured LCD screen thingies that allows you to store selected pictures on and present as a slide show on your desk-- would be something he would appreciate.

Does anyone have any shopping/research/actual experience with these and would be willing to share that with me?

Thanks!

I know someone with one.

I don't really know much about them, except that it was pretty damn handy. Instead of having to show packages and packages of wedding/honeymoon pics, he just plug in the frame and hit play. Instant slide show.

I've been to his place too and he just has it on a table cycling some of his favourite shots.

As for what brand or any technical specs I can't help, sorry broach.

somebody over on http://www.photographycorner.com might be able to make a recommendation... though a cursory search of the site didn't return any mentions in the "product reviews" or the forum.

Sorry Broacher.
