My boyfriend really wants to make an LCD projector out of an LCD screen so I want to get him one for Christmas. Does anyone have any suggestions on what specs I should get? He was talking about getting the smallest display with the highest resolution he could find, but as you may know, those are really expensive (cuz they gotta pack a lotta pixels into a small space) I want to find a 15" at like 1024 or something... any idea where I can find that for cheap? Ive got like $200 to work with (but i dont mind spending less than that... lol)

Look at the spam on that site, ick.
Check out amazon for free shipping or buy.com for $20 off using google checkout. Also it might be a good idea to google coupon codes for whatever site you are looking to visit.
Here is a 1280 x 1024 15" at buy.com (http://www.buy.com/prod/15IN_TFT_LCD_600_1_1024X768_AL1516_AB_BLACK_VGA_12 MS_ET_1516B_000/q/loc/14970/202882382.html) I wonder if you are going to need a higher contrast ratio though. I would think the brighter the screen the better.

i built something like this with an old tv & an old artograph projector for my daughters room it wasn't that clear but what 5 year old cares as long as cartoons are on there entire wall. when we moved we got rid of it because she didn't have a place for it.
