Hey everyone, just wondering can someone here tell me, does Windows XP support a Widescreen LCD monitor?

I've seen some and was thinking on buying a 19" Flat Panel but seen a 19" Widescreen one for slightly cheaper and thought it might look better and give me a bit of extra space...

can someone give me some info?

Thanks
WC

Thanks for replying... does it give u a bit more room to work than a normal ratio monitor?

For using only one monitor it does give that extra space to put a few palettes. At work I have a dual set up and when I come home to the 19" wide screen LCD monitor I don't feel as crowded as a normal 19".

I have a 19" widescreen Samsung SyncMaster 940bw and it does the trick.

OK, Cool. I'll prob do the whole Dual Set-up when I can afford it... is £129 good for a 19" Widescreen?

I know what you mean about the transition from big to small. At work I have a 19" but at home I have a 24".....It is horrible when I use someones computer that is a 15"-17" - I need a magnifying glass or something!

WOW, 24" must have cost you a bit, I bet you get a good red hot face off that screen eh? lol

Yeah it is a 24" Imac and it is amazing! It is bigger than my TV in my bedroom (20")....so I watch all my DVDs on my imac! I have had three websites on the screen at one time!

The 30" Mac Cinema display is amazing. When in front of it, it seems even larger. I dream of the day where I have one.
