the old keyfinder ...

hey all,
is there something similar to the old keyfinder on the new os? i was looking for stuff last night and found it, but didn't know which key strokes to use to USE the character? still using fontboo too ...:(

go to the little flag in the top right of your screen and select 'keyboard viewer'... if it's not there go to 'system preferences', 'international', 'input menu' and switch it on in the settings... then when you select it, you should be able to use it just as keyfinder.

There's an option to Show Keyboard Viewer in the Flag menu. Is this what you're asking? It shows a representation of the keyboard, at the bottom left there's a font menu that allows you to choose what font you want to see the keyboard character for.
