"Stop the hate" hahaha. Pidgeons deserve love too I guess.
I missed this before posting the winged rat comment, hehe. But come on man, Trufalgar square does not need to be covered in pidgeon crap every day of the year.

Not much for pigeons myself. Around here, they mangey - missing feathers...the patches of skin just don't do it for me. Also, I'm sure a few of them are lesbian...

Nice. Cute pidgeon Spanky.
There's an old Muslim woman at the central Mosque in the city centre, over here, whose task is to feed and water over two hundred pidgeons everyday. I think it's a rather noble job.

Pigeons are lebanese? I didn't know that.
Seriously, why hold their lesbianism against them? That would seem to be a mark in their favor.

Cool! I'm quite interested in how other cultures treat pigeons as there is quite a variation through history... in christianity, pigeons were a symbol of the holy spirit... in greek history, pigeons were linked with aphrodite and treated as godesses... and in the far east, a lot of artwork implies that pigeons were perfection...
I've got a feeling that in another culture birds are regarded to be souls that haven't made their way to 'heaven' yet and so need respect and looking after but i don't know if that has anything to do with islam...

In my culture if a bird builds a nest under your eaves you regard them as you would a visitor in your home... you leave out crumbs, water, etc.

love your illustrations dude - i have a thing with pigeons though. our nehbour used to keep them, and he would wander round his garden for hours and hours shouting '*** on, ch ch ch, *** on, ch ch ch' so you can imagine how annoying that was for us.
i have nothing personal against them - just that annoying man next door. i do get freaked out by the fact that the ALWAYS have deformed feet though.

Maybe that is why Captain's is wearing shoes. :p
