Plesiosaurs lived for millions of years in the then-warm southern ocean surrounding Antarctica, with adults growing as large as 32 feet long. With diamond-shaped fins they could "fly" through the water much as penguins do now.

I wonder if they will come back after 2040 (http://blogs.chron.com/bluebayou/2006/12/the_north_pole_minus_the_ice.html)!

yeah, even if the plesiosaurs come back, I don't think it would help much.

Is a plesiosaur anything like a Liopleurodon....a magical Liopleurodon (http://www.filmcow.com/charlietheunicorn.html)?

Sweet. When the real estate market crashes, I'll be buying up all that worthless desert in California for nickels an acre, when the flood hits, I'll be rich beyond my wildest dreams. That's an awful long time to wait, though. Is there any way to speed up global warmin'? Maybe let on there's oil underneath Greenland's ice, all you have to do is melt it off. Halliburton could have done with a 30 day turnaround time.
