We are having a lot of problems with spam email. In your opinion, What is the best antispam we can purchase or find in the market, and why?

Thank you guys.

Spam has trippled over the last few months of this year. I've blocked I dont' know how many IP's globally on the server. And even one of my scripts was compromised. grrrrrrr.

I hate spam. I averaged 1-2 thousand a day and it's well above that to the point I've shut down almost all my extraneous emails to the essentials. Well 45+ emails to 12. heh.

Can't help with a spam program. Everyone I've tried has trapped valid email as well.

i hear Choice Mail is good... but, as with any email spamming problems, it will only get worse and become even more difficult to use that email address...

best bet is to change your email, use choice mail until everyone has your new email and use your new email for personal contacts only and use your old one for filling in online forms or offers...

I agree with the tactic proposed by Silence04, although I've never used Choice mail. Change your e-mail address, and then change your strategy in terms of the way you share your e-mail address. I have three e-mails, one for work, one for home, and one for online offers and anything I suspect will create an influx of spam. I get very little spam at my work and home e-mail because of this, and the one for online offers is a free account that I can easily delete with no ill effects since my personal e-mail all goes to my home e-mail address.

Once you start getting lots of spam, about the only way to approach it is to either choose to manage it, or take steps that will let you start fresh and prevent the influx with your new e-mail.

Well, the problem is not my email, it is the problem of everybody's emails here. I don't think we can change emails, all of our clients have those emails for years. I think the problems is more complex because we create new accounts for specific reasons and pretty soon they are full of spam emails. The problems is the domain name I guess, it is very vulnerable for some reason. I think we should try an anti spam anyway... Has anybody have good results with a program?

Well, as has already been stated, most spam filters are still going to force you to look at the spam, as often legitimate e-mails get caught up in the web, kinda like dolphins in tuna nets.

At work, we use a service called Postini, that alerts you to when suspect e-mails have arrived. I usually just turn on my Entourage junk mail filter at work, it does a pretty good job, but then again, as I've said, my work e-mail is pretty spam free for the most part. Similarly with Mail, which is what I use at home.

What e-mail client do you use?

Whatever you choose, it's not going to be a solution to eliminating the spam, it's just going to be a way of helping you manage it.

The problem isn't always yours either. It's the thousands of other people who have unknown spyware and unsafe email practices that cause half my problems.

ost part. Similarly with Mail, which is what I use at home.

It's called MailEnable, it is a program that it is installed in one of our servers (email server) so we can create emails for our company and for our clients as well, using their domain names.
