I am using inkscape(don't ask why) and my images are allows coming out a tad to dark. So when I overlay then on a styles created through css the images never perfectly match. For instance, I have a red box and top of it is a blue box. Then created a corner in inscape. The circle was the same rgb value as the bottom box and the background was the same rgb value as the top box. However, when I place the graphic as a backgroud image the image is slightly darker then the colors set by CSS of the exact same rgb color values.
Any one know why this is and what I can do to fix it?
Currently what I am doing to export(since, inkscape doesn't offer a jpeg or gif option) is saving as an png then saving the png out as a gif in preview. I wouldn't think that would casue the promblem but, any suggestions and possible solutions(besides use illustrator, photoshop, fireworks, etc) would be wonderfull.
thanks
