Just thought it would be a good idea to start a thread of quick creative inexpensive Xmas ideas, for all you late shoppers. Post your ideas or past gifts that went really well. Here's an example.....
When I was in Art college and couldn't afford to buy gifts, I decided to go through my sketchbook and trim out Bookmark sized sections of areas of sketching I liked and made personal bookmarks on them. I also drew a few more (just sketches and doodles, not wonderous works of art) and I would fill in negative space areas with personal writing. Then I would glue on either side of a thicker board stock and have them laminated. They were a huge hit! Got about 30 done in two days (laminating and trimming costs only).
