When I heard there was going to be Thursday and Saturday night NFL, GREAT, I thought. Then they bring on Bryant Gumbel and Chris Collingsworth. GIMME A BREAK. Bryant Gum-ball has the most BORING monotone in the world and doesn't know squat about football. Tonights game between Dallas and Atlanta, he informed the viewers that if the New Orleans Saints win on Sunday, they will clinch the NFC WEST! Well, then. Not too sure, but I guess that puts the Seahawks in the NFC South? Then they take a commercial break and we miss a Dallas field goal. Get me some REAL football people, not first year amateurs!

I feel a little better now.

Back to "Elf".

This is precisely why I stopped following the NFL this year. Boooring pre/post game. I mean, that's half the fun...or at least a third. That and the Giant's downward spiraling season.

:(

Sinse the salary cap and reduced team rosters and the lack of continuity, free agency, the circus atmosphere put on by the owners, the sameness of the teams, the sameness that no other sport has achieved is driving me to view the NFL as lackluster at best. The owners and their lacky lawyers are ruining the game to pad their pockets equally among themselves with TV revenue and merchandise whilst blowing smoke up the fan's butts.

The only good part of any NFL pregame show is watching Steve Young continually make Michael Irvin look like a dipshit in front of millions of people every Sunday.

How does that guy even have a job?

I don't know. The guy was even caught with crack and a pipe in his car. Granted, he maybe innocent of it, saying that it wasn't his crack. I just don't buy it. What kind of friends does he keep.

At Least you get the NFL network, our cable provider doesn't offer it yet. Thanksgiving we were all set to watch the new 8:30 game they were advertising to find out it's on a channel we can't even subscribe too! Also try being JETS fans living anywhere near PA.

I'd rather not see the game than have to listen to Bryant Gum-ball make an attempt at football play by play. He actually said in the game the other night..."Coming up to the THREE minute warning"! WTF is a 3 minute warning??

It's a one minute warning before the two minute warning which lasts, with commericials, about a half hour. :D

Well, I guess we'll see about the saints. I'm really proud of them this year - ok, not this weeks game, but they were great last week! I can't wait til the superbowl!
