Hi Everyone...I'm ULTRA new here, but I've had a great time so far just reading this...stuff...

I'm the Graphics Director/Production Manager for a boating magazine that I helped start 6 years ago (start-ups SUCK!). I've been in the magazine publishing field my entire career (since my senior year of college; has it really been 12 years?).

I also do freelance design for two national horse publications (one is a hunter/jumper; one is a pony). I'm in the process of trying to make my freelance business grow so I can flip a hearty middle finger up to the corporate world and the sorry SOBs who sell out their loyal employees without notice, cause or even a 'bless you.'

But, I'm not bitter or anything...
