New logo/business card concept

Working on a new logo/concept. Please let me know what your thoughts are on it and ideas for improvements.

The type and logo are too seperated. I think your layout is working but the typography is flat . . .

I agree with Crimson, also, I'm not really sure about the eye. Maybe its just because I can't help thinking of bird's eye frozen vegetables and their logo...Is the name set in stone? But if you are stuck on the name, then I think the block of color on the side seems to swallow up the image of the eye, maybe just make the block smaller.

I agree too, and also the color, why did you choose that color,maybe you shoud try other posibilities?
