Marketing logo

Hey everyone,
I'm working on a logo for a new marketing company. The name comes from "buzz" marketing or "creating a buzz" etc. Let me know what you think. I'm on a pretty tight deadline, and I like where this version is going, but please tell me if i need to make any tweaks/adjustments... or any other comments.

Overall, I like your design...just some thoughts. The QueenBee letterspacing seems very tight, and might pose a problem when this is reduced in size, running everything together visually. As for the word "Marketing", you might try other font options or letterspace it out or just experiment with placement...it seems a bit out of place where it is, IMO. Overall, very simple yet clever design.

I like the "Q"
would be nice to see some variation on teh "Q" to more of a stylized bee or something similar but overall a good job and clean. just a thought and one that may not work out is to make a dashed line curving from the last "e" to the Marketing word as if a Bee was flying and something like a Family Circus line where Billy runs all over the place. it may not work and may look too gimicky though.

I also like the concept. However, it does seem to be a bit too tight. When printed in smaller size,s on some paper stocks, I think you're going to have the potential for the letterforms to bleed together. I do think you a missing the opportuntity to push the "bee" imagery and create a truly dynamic and unique identity. The "Q" shape presents an excellent chance to introduce a "bee" graphic with a stinger.

Thanks for the comments. You guys are probably right about the letterspacing, I'll play with that. I thought about making the Q more of a bee shape and messed around with it a little bit, but pulled back. I liked the simplicity and the hint at a bee stinger with the Q shape. I also removed the word "marketing" from the mark. After talking with other people it just didn't seem necessary, and it felt a little awkward.

im not too sure about the condensed face for Queen Bee, looks a little odd. IMO these faces dont really work in upper and lower they always look a bit awkward, they are most effectively used in caps on strong retail stuff.

I agree with what the others have said about pushing the Q a bit more, this has the potential to be a really sweet logo...

I think it's too simple. The Q is nice, but that's the only thing that I like about it. The word MARKETING looks a bit lost underneath. Just been plonked there?
