Very nice. :) I wish my walks had scenery like that in them. I do have walks that consist of trees, grassy knolls and hay fields once in a while though. They can be nice.
No waterfront views with Canadian geese though. :(

this was on the bike trail here. It's a nice walk... a little muddy and slippery today though!
First time I've ever had a "shot" at geese!

They are called canadian geese buda ... and they are all over the north here and in Canada. We have tons here lately .. the population seems to be growing.
Great Pic Mo!! The colors are so vibrant :)

Great Picture. Gorgeous colors and very crisp!
Where I live the Canada Goose is population 1:1 with our city....and there's a 100,000 or so people here.

It says 80 Thou or so, but we would be the geese experts in the lower 48, or at least the midwest.

+ 20K for mayo employees ... haha!
Did see some bald eagles flying over silverlake last month during the wee bit of snow we got. Very awesome. But it was also foggy so the pictures we took weren't quite focused :(

Yes, but that's saying that none of those 20k mayo employees live in Rochester. When you come to Rochester you don't visit the Mayo Clinic you visit Silver Lake and the geese.

Great shot Mo,
wonderful colours in the water.
I'd crop the top off a little bit more, to get rid of the distracting details in the upper right.

good advice, mac. I was just looking at that myself.
"You knob, morea, you didn't get rid of that whole building at the top of the photo!" (oops) :o

Love the pic morea. Looks kinda more like a Photoshopped image than a photo. How did you get such good picture quality?

I took about 30 shots, and this one looked good, lol. I added a small amount of contrast in PS because it was a little flat. Winter has been a rainy, dreary mess so far.
Glad you liked it!
