*waves, salutes all*
Er don't know what to say. Its bloody hot here .. 40 degrees celcius tommrow. Hooray! Just thought i'd drop by and say hi. I'm going to be studying digital media (design) this year. Or Visual Communication design ( thats if i get in ) I'm still pretty new to this whole thing. Just finished a one year design course last year. Before that I worked in the hospitality industry for about 4 and a half years.

Hi and welcome. How long is the course you're hoping to get into?

thanks budafist. Ive already been accepted into Digital Media, and its a 2 year course. The one I want to get into is a 3 year degree at university. Or about 5 years if you choose to do international studies along with it.

International studies is a combined degree course which you can also study with other degrees. It teaches you about language , and culture.. and I think you go and work overseas for a year.

Yep - from sydney. But my parents aren't

This guy's been posting all over the place, mostly looking for a girlfriend in time for Valentine's Day.

Hey Botchup. Ive been to perth a couple of times. Usually I eat at that korean Restaurant in the city..

Theres this really cool underground clothing store with pretty loud music outside of it, dunno what its called. But I love it.

Well, since this thread was bumped, I might as well join in to say that I'll be in Sydney for a business trip next week :)

Hmmm...who's closer? Me in Auckland or Botchup in Perth?

:p There you are again budafist.

Umm - I've never been to NZ. How long is the flight to sydney? Sydney looks closer to NZ on the atlas. But usually its not accurate. It takes roughly 5 hrs to get to Perth.

Bring something warm to wear. Its been quite cold here lately.

It's just under a 3 hour flight to Sydney so Auckland is closer than Perth!

Thanks for the heads up sierng. It's cold in NZ too so I'm planning to wear the same kinda clothing I'm wearing here.
