Business Card Know how wanted

Hello you lovely people, could one of you give me a very quick run down on putting together a business card from start to finish so the printer can just take the disk and do it, as in are there things to worry about.

I can set up a new document in Illustrator and draw fancy shapes etc but what else do I need to do?

select a nice paper stock!

make sure if it has full color that you extend the bleed a sixteenth, also keep all of your graphics/text within an 1/8 inch of the edge, this will prevent any text getting trimmed off , or a logo getting clipped. Make sure all of your type is created to outlines, if you have specific pms %'s or pms callouts, type it above the 'live' area so the pressman can see it. that should be it.
