Ok..I have a customer who is so obessed about having her name like this on a business card:

E·liz·a·beth (in red) (ĭ-lĭz'ə-bəth)

I was trying to tell the lady that there is no way for me to manually type out these characters: ĭ-lĭz'ə-bəth. Do you press Option and whatever letter at the sametime?

The rest is no problem. It's just the fact that I have no idea how to do the "e" and the i's with the "u" shape on top of them.

I hope somebody here knows a secret way on how to do this: on a mac!

Thanks guys!

Thanks...but unfortunatley that what I found today. It doesn't have the upside down e and the "i".

Man...this customers!

Why don't you just create it in a program like Illustrator? You can flip the e and create the "i" yourself.

Only certain expert typefaces have all the characters you are after. As Sweethouse said you'll probs have to make them in Illy.

I second the Illy suggestion, it would probobly be quiker than looking for it in a font.

I agree to use Illy. Ive actually had to create this before, and place it in Quark.

It worked fine for me, using Helvetica, every other typeface not so much…
