Ok, a different kinda question.

Based on living in the UK. I've been asked to tutor a mature student in Photoshop. I'm an experienced designer and like most of us, use it everyday, so tutoring isn't a problem, but she's asked me how much charge would be adequate. Being that she's a student I thought not much, because i've been there, and I'm willing to help any student who contacts me. I just wondered if anyone else has tutored others and how much do/would you charge.

Any replies appreciated.

cheers.

unfortunately, it is against the rules of this forum to discuss pricing. You might want to pick up a copy of the "Graphic Artists Guild Handbook: Pricing and Ethical Guidelines". You can usually get them on eBay.

Good luck!

I don't know that the GAG handbook would have hourly prices for tutoring?
