Hello-
I work on a Mac in the print side of my company and the web people are on a PC. We use Linotype FontExplorer for our Font management. They asked me if I knew of any Font Managment software for the PC. Any good recomendations for the PC world?
I have a PC at home but have no idea and couldn't answer their request with anything so I figured someone here might know of one (or more) option(s).
Thanks in advance.

I gave up on PC font managers when I installed Windows XP. I just use the
System Font Folder. Round up your required system and application fonts.
Make them read only and hidden in the font folder. Then I just grab the
fonts I need and copy them into the font folder, and delete them when done.
Works for TT, OT and PS fonts, so you don't even really need ATM unless you
have to work with Multiple Master fonts. Not really sure if it's a best practice
or not, but I have had zero problems since doing this. That's right, none.

I recently bought Suitcase by Extensis for the PC and for the Mac. I must say, I absolutely love it. It's so much easier to go through hundreds of fonts and type families.
Its worth every cent.

I work on a PC at work and got so agravated with not being able to view fonts, so I got Maintype. It costs about $40 and works much the same way as suitcase. (Not as many options, since its PC, but still, it allows you to view fonts, activate, deactivate, etc...) It works great and the price was right.

WannaBrie....where can I go to get Maintype? I don't have a font manager on my computer...but I have been needing it for some time.
