Just letting you all know. www.dreamstime.com now has a free section. (I consider it what we would consider spec-work for the photographer profession... "get your name out there and get some exposure" kind of thing) but hey, if your interested, theres some decent images on there.

Cool, i've been looking for a good one since sxc (i think that was it) got shut down.
The only down fall to "free stock photo" sites, is you never know if the person who uploaded a photo actually has the rights to it. And when the hammer falls, it's not on them.

I'm pretty sure you don't mean sxc (http://www.sxc.hu/), what with how that looks decidedly not shut down to me.

yea, its a bit of a risk, but dreamstime is pretty reputable, id trust 'em
