Weird request: is anyone available to describe the color quality of Pantone 5265 U at 50%? Whether it's purply or dusty, etc.? I'd really appreciate it.

And yeah I know, I've got to get the tint books. I'm stubbornly waiting for someone somewhere to break up the set so I can get just the uncoated books. Sigh.

Thanks in advance.

It's gray on uncoated stock. Only a very very tiny hint of magenta.

Wow. I knew it would be a bit "dusty" which is what's needed, but perhaps not quite that much. Okay, biting the bullet and ordering the 4 set of those durned tint books! Thanks PD. I really appreciate it.

Edited to add random thought: When I look at the strip 5265 is on, and look to the lightest on that strip (5315), I wonder if the lightest tint of 5265 resembles 5315... hmm. Because that would be, well, redundant. Any truth to that assertion PD? Just curious before plunking down my 2 bills.
