i've probably asked someone this before but whats hte fastest way to crop an image, rounded corner's style.

do you manually paint in the corners for one end and then copy and paste for the rest of the corners?

that's what i've been doing.... just curious.

what program are you talking about?

In PS you could crop, then make a selection with the rounded rectangle tool, invert the selection, and fill. Does that help?

Or create a selection with the rounded rectangle tool, then jump that selection onto its own layer (CTRL/CMD-J). Then you can remove the original layer, or fill it with color.

I was struggling with this as well. New layer tip from Ned must be the fastest option. Thanks

Or... another way:

Add a new mask to the layer, select Pen tool, path mode, rounded rectangle, set radius, drag and draw the rectangle. A vector clipping path in a mask is easily removable/copyable and very editable-- low byte overhead too.
