Hi there. I have a basic question: could someone possibly tell me the difference between web and offset printing? I am not that experienced in print. Thanks!

Essentially web printing in the lithographic sense is web offset. Most printing which occurs for the traditional brochure or magazine world is printed offset, also called lithographic printing, "offset" can apply to sheetfed or web. The difference there being the paper substrate is either fed into the printing press via pre-cut sheets like a 28" x 40" sheet size -or- fed via a roll called a web because the paper is continuous (not sheeted). To provide a full meaning to printing is a rather large response so I have taken the opportunity to provide a link below which will provide some detail for you:

Good luck
