Good evening all, I just signed up here today. My brother and I own Titanmx Graphics, and we currntly manufacture custom motocross decals. We currently are trying to upgrade materials and adhesives, and was wondering if anyone was familliar with sub surface printing and the process involved. We are currently looking to purchase another printer as our VersaCamm just does not cut it anymore.
We need to produce custom sub-surface printed spot color decals on 16-18 mil clear pvc film. We are looking to find the products we need and possibly a machine recomendation. Finally a little background info on our needs:
Most companies print ether uv thermal transferred spot colors(i.e Gerber edge, matan spark, etc.) but we need a bit wider as most graphics need 16"x16" per decal to print, s there goes the printers above. We cant find a 1-18 mil thick pvc film, I assume it's cast. And we will be applying a 3m 300lse adhesive tape to the back to adhere to the conforms of the plastics. Any insight would be great as to where to look into materials, and printers that can print spot colors and white inks. Thanks so much.
