Those of you that live in my area may have seen this commercial for a certain trade school here in the cities.
The commercial is of this young spunky girl with funky hair and a peppy attitude walking around some kind of creative studio. She talks about graphic design etc. I don't have much of an issue with the commercial until this line..
"not an artist? it doesn't matter anymore..."

Oh Man, that's horrible. But I know the type of commercials your talking about. Too bad most of those schools are more of a business than a school. Pretty soon they'll be like:
"Hate tools and grease, but still want to be a mechanic..."

I know the one you're talking about colonel. I want to cut her ponytails off.

I'm guessing that's some kind of stock commercial for small schools, since we have that one out on the east coast. I'm so inspired to go to their school, especially since their graphics are sooo rad.

"And you could even work in the music industry making album covers!"
Gee. That's just what I always dreamed of...

Funny, designing album covers actually is what I've always dreamed of... :D
I know this commercial LOL, it's a staple on daytime and after midnight TV along with the ambulance chasers and the massage therapy schools.

Pretty much any commercial any more is annoying, but this definitely sounds like it's one of the 'elite' of irritating.

It's okay," because she can see the steam coming out my ears. It's like the graphic design industry just goes out of its way at every opportunity to cheapen itself, and this school doesn't help that image.

They're for the Gibbs Institute here. They also have a really HORRIBLE commercial for their criminal justice program. It even has a disclaimer somewhere along the lines that the images shown may not necessarily represent actual classes, classrooms, students, etc. at their school.

Never seen that commercial, wonder if someone has a Youtube link to it or something....
But it does remind me of those videogame programmer commercials. "Don't worry, we're finishing up level 3 right now!" "Can you believe we get paid to do this? Paid to play games!" Ughh..

"Are you ready to play the next greatest game?
We bet, but there's just one problem.
YOU HAVEN'T MADE IT YET........*******!!!"

Greater yet is the "you can make games like this!" and they show some crappy computer animation (superimposed) on a monitor.
Don't look like any game I've ever played.
