Budafist is our project director and I will be handling the official forum side of things. We will use this thread to keep people updated on where we are at. Please keep posts in this thread to questions. Keep comments in the comments thread. Thanks!
Okay, here is the project as I see it. We're going to make a 52 week calendar with members furnishing the art for one or two weeks. These calendars are going to fit in some sort of little modified jewel case type apparatus which will sit on our desks. Each piece of artwork will be (not yet determined) inches which includes a 1/8" bleed. We will then sell these calendars at a reasonable profit and donate these profits to Ana's family. See, Please Help Us Save Ana (http://http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19598) I really can't imagine anybody objecting to helping the family of an 11 year old girl with a brain tumor. Besides every penny will go directly to the people who need it. You can't say that about most charities..
Let's just plan on this being a 2008 calendar. I know it seems like a long ways away but figuring we would need to have these things ready to ship by mid October and considering the eclectic and voluntary nature of this whole thing, shooting for 2008 will be just about right.
