Hi ppl,
i want to start my own website...basically to showcase my portfolio, the only problem being i have no clue about web designing or programming :o . I tried learning HMTL on my own but its way too time consuming (atleast for me). So i came across this website today, http://www.esitesbuilder.com/en/build-own-web-site/index.html can you pls tell me if this is any good or it's too expensive?
pls remember i have no clue about web designing or hosting charges, etc, so ANY help will be much appreciated. If you guys have better suggestions pls let me know.

Much thanks :)

have you had a look at this site? They offer a basic online portfolio for free, or you can pay for additional services.

Another I would suggest is Creative Hotlist (http://www.creativehotlist.com/). Or deviantART (http://www.deviantart.com/).

You might find better clients on there. I personally have a portfolio on Portfolios.com (http://www.portfolios.com/), which Morea mentioned, but I don't put anything into it because I have my own website...

Definitely, if you're not a web designer, hosting your portfolio on one of these portfolio sites is way better than designing a site with a low-grade "Site Builder'.

Oh, cool... I didn't know Portfolios.com opened up free 5 sample portfolios to everyone. That used to be a special offer through Hewlett Packard, that you had to register for seperately. Thanks for posting that, Morea.
