So I have a meeting with a client to design their logo for a small software company. Thats pretty much all I have to go off of right now. This is actually a collaborative effort. My buddy knows more about the client than I do. Anyways what are some general questions to ask and what are some questions not to ask? Here are some questions that I have so far, not in any particular order.
What does the company do exactly?
What message do you want to convey?
How do you want your business to be perceived?
Why should your business be perceived this way?
What is your long/short term goals?
What demographic?
Target Audience?
Accessibility?
What is your current clients view?
How well recognized is your current logo?
Any specific elements you would like to retain from the previous logo? ie. color?
And curious if there is any no no questions that could get us roped into a sticky situation? Thanks a bunch guys.
