If javascript causes that, perhaps we should consider banning its use while driving...

Google yielded this (http://today.java.net/pub/a/today/2005/07/07/j2me3.html?page=6) and this (http://today.java.net/pub/a/today/2005/07/07/j2me3.html?page=6). I don't know Java so I have no idea if any of this is useful.

Wait what are we talking about here?
Java (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Java_%28programming_language%29) or Javascript (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Javascript), because they are two different things.

You should never script while driving.

i guess what im asking is a javascript library animation
its similar to flash's actionscript no?

Jackimalyn

perhaps you could dictate? to prevent such a javascript disaster if you must drive while coding?

Well you can definitely create a javascript that will move images of 2 cars closer to each other, and appear to crash, but if you want the cars to look like the metal is collapsing and such, then use an animated gif for it.

Neballer

Or do it in flash.

JPnyc

Well even in flash you'll need images in various stages of the crash.

Neballer

true - but you won't be dealing with gifs.

yea i just want to imitate one using a library from javascript. not really interested in the appearance so i wouldnt use flash.
