I'm willing to bet every registered user here is on the CA email list.

anybody ever participate in these things? I haven't.

While I wouldn't want to get into a "buy an award" type situation, what sort of odds are there to get some kind of recognition from a contest like this?

The CA annuals are basically the Holy Grail of competitions. If you're not at the top of your game you're not getting in. Read and respected by more people than anything else. Printed beautifully. I personally enter every year and never get in but that's the way it goes. The judges change every year but it's consistently the one everyone reads so it's worth it. If you're near a college with an art program you can usually find back issues to flip through. Also Borders and B&N usually have the current issue on the shelf. I think some might still have the Advertsing Annual up.

You're the mod so you would know. My thinking was the user roll got sold to a list service. But hey, I never read those ULA's or Privacy Statements anyway :)
