thanks vtwin! first i did all the text in indesign, then exported it to an eps. then i found that dog photo and applied a duotone and a lot of blur. then i applied a clipping mask with the eps from indesign. :)

well, technically... yes. However, the unmelted one was bigger to start with (all the best comedy double acts feature different sized people)!
plus, because he's not melted yet it gives the other snowman even more reason to be angry.

I like the snowman one just fine and I did notice the placement of the carrot right off the bat. However, I would have voted for the other one, because the quote on the rose version is so graceful and rather fitting for the project.

Thanks for your kind words Tea. At first I was not happy with the rose version. I felt it was uninspired and turned out to be very similar in concept to quite a few other designs - and the snowman one is unique.
However, the more I look at the rose one, the more I like it. But, I suppose that unless a flood of people all clamour for the rose version, it's going to be the snowman. thanks again.
