we are doing a presentation for class on a logo designer, or a logo design firm..
I really like Ideograma, but the whole website is in Spanish, and I can only translate about 75% of the information.
My instructor has suggested a couple, but they have been designers in history. I like to learn about what is hot and fresh now :)
any ideas are appreciated.
thanks,
ella

I love Jeff Fisher's work, and he even happens by GDF from time to time.
His website is: http://www.jfisherlogomotives.com/
or you can check out his blog: http://blog-omotives.blogspot.com/
He also recently published a great book called The Savvy Designer’s Guide to Success: Ideas and tactics for a killer career (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1581804806/jefffisherlog-20/104-3387975-1610318?creative=329585&camp=14573&link_code=as1)
and he writes a column called Logo Notions (http://www.creativelatitude.com/logo_notions/index.html) for www.creativelatitude.com.

Doh! <smacks forehead> Why didn't I think of Jeff? But of course, he'd be perfect, and he's very open in terms of communicating, I'm sure he'd be delighted if you focused on him. :)
