Where can look to find out more information about fonts...like what fonts are recommended to represent summer, winter, fall, spring and what fonts best represent a corporate look, magazine, newsletter, announcement, etc...

I suggest you do some web searches for the term 'typography' as it will render some great results. As far as researching this, you're best to do this on your own. The secondary imagery for seasons, magazines, and corportate look and feel are in the eye of the beholder. In today's modern world, we have seen high profile companies go with an untraditional typeface and pull it off with additional graphic support or in avante garde approaches.
It sounds like this is a homework assignment that you're just too lazy to do on your own, thus, the reason no one has responded to this thread. We're professionals and we don't do lazy peoples' homework.

Lots of questions may sound like homework, but still valid questions.
We may not tell you exactly what the answers are, because they are very interpretive to the designer, company, and location.
The term you are looking for is Typography. Search here on the forum as well as the search engines for articles. Find out what it is, how to utilize it and where to implement it and why.
Typography is the font, the forms of specific letters, and how the fonts are used in design.
Good Luck!

Here are a couple of typography links I like:
U&lc (http://www.itcfonts.com/Ulc/4012/)
Evolution of type (http://www.mediumbold.com/04_thinking/type/)
As to your specific question, I agree with Drazan and SurfPark, this is a highly subjective thing. You'll need to develop your own taste for what works for you to convey the feel that you like. Your "spring" might be my "winter". Typefaces have an energy all their own. When used correctly, they are a graphic element in a design. And typography doesn't fall in the same category as fashion. I doubt very many here would say you should never use Gill Sans after Labor Day. ;)
