So I'm working on a digital/online portfolio for myself, here is one of the pages I've been working on... please let me know what you think of it.

So I was working on a graphic design project for a class, and I had to include myself in the frame. I thought i'd be all cool and act nonchalant and have some interesting background. When looking through my classmates projects, the best ones had pictures of themselves in more interesting positions, even if they were not completely flattering.

So, get a more interesting picture of yourself. That's my only advise

i think that the personal prot. should be about your work, i saw a lot of prot. websites and let me tell u. the professional ones r all about the style, non pic of the designer, mybe a small pic in the "about" tab.

good luck !

I'd avoid posting a picture of yourself on your site. Unless you're a realtor... in which case it seems to be an unwritten requirement.

The logo works.
The Grundge style is not going to appeal to a lot of people. It is starting to get tired.
Definitely have a reason to incorporate a person into an opening page for a design website. I don't mean use a canned pose like stock art but either something a little more alive looking or pertinent to the style. I'm not a real fan of using a pic of yourself either. As Mo says, only realtors <and car dealers> do that...

It is starting to get tired.

I've been waiting four years to see this written.

It's finally coming. The end is near. Thank ****ing god.

I dunno, I like the inclusion photos sometimes. Examples that spring to mind:
