Good day!
The question is "What is the Best Color Setting for Photoshop CS2?". I am having difficulty on how to manage the colors in Photoshop because i dont know what the best setting. The color in photoshop is different from the print out.
Please help...

If there were a "best" setting, it would come set that way. In fact, it does come set up for a sort-of good for most situations. The best depends on where your source images are coming from, your display, your printer...

thanks for that thought.. maybe i should say, what's the default color setting for graphic designers who usually used photoshop for printing purposes..

Well, it still depends.
For your RGB setting, sRGB is generally best if you're working with images from digital cameras and the like, or working on images for the web, as they both use the sRGB profile. On the other hand, if you're creating images, many people prefer Adobe RGB as it has a wider colour gamut.
Your CMYK profile and dot gain settings depend on the printer you'll be sending to. Check with them to find out which profile they prefer. It will vary by printer.
Alternately, you can just do what most of us end up doing, and accept that what's on your screen has only a passing resemblance to what turns up in print. That's what swatch books and proofs are for.
