account blocked?

Hey guys, just hoping someone can help me out with this. I try to access the home page, but get the following message:

Takes2ToTricycle, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.I know i did not say anything offensive that would lead to me being banned. And i can still talk on the forum here (obviously). Just wondering why this is happening and if i can get some help.

im sure they are just doing work on the server, wouldn't worry to much about it. if it keeps up for more then a couple days send one of us mods a pm and we will take it from there.

By "homepage" do you guys mean the Home link at the top of the page? I don't have a clue what is happening but you're definitely not banned or you wouldn't be able to post. :confused:

They are probably having the same problem I have. They've made a link to the GDF that takes them to the list of topics they are subscribed to rather than the main GDF page. For some reason the subscribed topics pages are not coming up.

Just edit your shortcut to take you to the main page instead and problem solved.

I've heard that this is happening to a lot of people... last night MyST was trying to load www.graphicdesignforum.com (not the list of new topics, I checked... it was the main page) and kept getting that same error message. I had him try to log out and back in and clear his cookies, but I didn't know how to troubleshoot it further than that.

it is the main gdf page. (i get the message if i click on the link in morea post. no biggie just thought people should know.

I used my wand of unbanning. I rolled some dice and ...shazam ala unban! Here I am.

Unfortunately my wand has a -4 Charisma effect and my dice are all 2 sided dice.

Now I'm partially unbanned. I see the "most recent pictures/photos? part of the home page, but nothing else (other than the top nav.)

Yea, I partially freaked out last night but clicked User CP and it was fine so I figured it was just a glitch. Today I get the recently uploaded photos like Craig B...

Maybe they do in your CRAZY 3D world, but here things work a little differently. We also use the Metric system.

I get the same message, but only when logging in from my pc. It doesn't happen when I'm on my mac.

Actually, it isn't doing it anymore. Now it brings me to a page with a bunch of photos on it. Again, only when on the pc.

Well, I'm CatintheHat1 because CatintheHat just stopped working one day...and I'm sure (??) I wasn't banned. I sent my cheques to the mods faithfully every week ;)
