Hi! I have a dvd (vob file) of 1½ hours, and I'd like to make a clip of 3 minutes out of it, how do I clip it?

All I have on my PC is Windows Media Player 11 & RealPlayer.
thanks,

Take an exacto knife or some sharp scissors and cut out a piece of the DVD 0.033% of the full size. That should be about 3 minutes.

I'm a mac guy. You can run the question by these guys http://www.2-popforums.com/forums/ Fair warning, if it's copyright material they'll go after your juggler.

With the addition of Jim's caveat about copyrighted material, you'll first need to RIP the contents of the DVD somehow. There's a Mac program called Handbrake which will do this, not sure if it's available for Windows.

Next easiest thing after that would be to open it in Quicktime Pro and select the part you need and ditch the rest.

Handbrake is sex. Great program for ripping your DVDs to either PSPs or iPods, too.
