Hey everyone,
Can someone tell me what the trick is to importing PDf files into Quark 6.5. I had no problems doing it in Quark 5. Am I missing some sort of a PDF filter or extension?
I appreciate the help! :D

I have always found it more reliable to Export an .eps file from Acrobat,
then import that. Quark and PDF files have never really worked for me. In theory
you should save the pdf 1.3 compatability, then import it. Quark doesn't like
transparency up to 6.5 (I've never run 7), and saving it with Version 4
compatability will force the PDF to flatten.

I rarely use Quark anymore, but have you checked your Xtensions manager? I think there's an Xtension that might be turned off.

Try going to the Utilities menu, and see what's enabled or disabled in your Xtensions.

I'll have to look when I go to work tomorrow, I don't have Quark on my machine here at home. PM me a reminder if you don't hear anything from me say mid-afternoon PST tomorrow.
