I did this logo for a Tendacious D-esque band from Fort Wayne... whattaya think? Obviously... I have yet to master the Illo program.

I'm not so keen on the colours - it doesn't make me want to eat them...

It's for a band... not a cupcake producing company.

I think the California Cupcake is a little hard to read because the blue line is flat and the words are curved. I would try making the blue follow the curve of the word or a gradient or get rid of the blue in the letters altogether. And maybe a little more contrast in the green/aqua cupcake. Other than that, you have a good start.

i think there are wayyyy to many colors going on. if its a logo it will need to be done in 1 color and i don't think that this logo will convert to 1 color well. also the blue line through california cupcake makes the text kinda hard to read i would just drop the line. one last thing that caught my eye. the first A in cupcake has something odd going on with it. near the point there is a little bit of white that looks like it shouldn't be there or the blue it just to far to the left. looking at it a little more the blue doesn't match with the black in a lot of places.

That was purposely done.

Thank you all for the information... greatly appreciated.

There's too much going on.

Why the pale blue stripe going through the middle? It bugs me that it doesn't follow the squiggly shape of the text. Get rid of it.

Your font choices are bleh. As are your colours.

I think you need to think up a concept first. Work out the logo in black and white so that you can see that you have a strong logo to work with. The colours are just distracting you at the moment.
