This will be an easy question for someone!
How do I ungroup on a Mac.
In the menu key it shows the shortcut as an up arrow, command, G
Where is this up arrow? I am pressing the only up arrow I see on the keyboard and it just nudges it up.

It's Shift and Apple at the same time and then press "G" (the shift key is shown as an up arrow)

The up arrow is the shift key in most programs.

I thought i tried that - I'll try it tomorrow when i get on the Mac.
I have a PC at home and i haven't worked on a Mac for a while.

Most things that are Ctrl+Shift on the PC, transfer to Apple+Shift on the Mac.

If you are a habitual right mouse button user, then the Ctrl key on the Mac is your friend. Holding Ctrl and clicking with the single button mouse on the Mac brings up the options window on most programmes.

Other than that ask the boss to spend some cash and buy one of the fancy new Mac mouses, much easier to use.

Thanks - I can ungroup now - probably no fancy mouse coming in the near future - this place needs a new computer first!

You don't need a fancy mouse. You can plug any USB mouse into a Mac. Personally, I find the one button thing fine, but I do miss the scroll wheel, so I just picked up a cheap USB mouse for my Mac.
