Seeking a Jr. Designer to work in the Marketing department of the Washington, D.C. office. The Jr. Designer, under direction of the Creative Manager, supports the firm’s visual brand identity through electronic and print communications. This position provides the day-to-day general layout and design assistance for advertisements, presentations, templates, promotional marketing, web site, electronic media and other communications. The Jr. Designer adheres to the strategic goals and firm standards before delivery to the internal client(s) for approval and prior to final dissemination. Looking for 2-4 years of experience in a creative role, either with an ad agency or internal Marketing Department, law or professional firm experience a plus, supported by a portfolio. Must have a degree in Design or Marketing or equivalent experience. Ability to design/layout on both PC and MAC platforms and experience with the graphic and web applications Quark Xpress, Abode Creative Suite to include, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Office applications to include, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and Dreamweaver.
