I don't know how many of you have seen this, but it's pretty awesome: http://www.drawball.com/
start zoomed out to see the ball as a whole, zoom in and in and in to leave your mark and draw. constantly changing.. constant battles for real-estate on the drawball.
be sure to check out the hall of fame

It's very cool, but holy crap, who has that amount of time to squander?!?! I'd be intrigued to see if any are colaborative efforts. I noticed the marylin monroe image in the hall of fame was worked on by several people whilst others repeatedly vandalised it, but the end result looked mostly the work of one person. I'm more interested by the social aspect of this type of drawing board than the art produced there. I used to have a facination with trying to get people on the public doodle pads on line to collaborate. It's interesting to see what you can encourage people to do without asking, for example if you start drawing dots and labeling them with numbers people will start playing dot to dot etc. Thanks for the link, it was a worth while click.

Wow, watching some of the 'hall of fame' drawings is pretty awesome! Amazing how after so much vandelism, they manage to shine through thanks to the artists determination.
