Hey,
I've redid my site a bazillion times, and i think i finally found a layout that works with my portfolio... but i dunno lol
http://www.dieselshack.com not quite done yet but you get the idea.
Soo... hows it look? opinions?

It's very boxey and doesn't say very much about you. A portfolio site should have a strong identity. Make yourself stand out from other portfolio sites with colour, fonts, images.
Your design here is a "forget in a minute" sort.

yeah, i'd agree with buda too...
at first glance it looked like one of those Advertising Directory sites, i think you need to make "you" stand out more.

errrrr.....yaaaaaa you're right....that was that nagging little voice in the back of my mind....
you know the one that we all have that says, 'this design really sucks you know' but we choose to ignore it cause we think, nahh it will work out....

Yeah I agree with the most. Also I found myself trying to click things that weren't links, but seemed like they should have been. Even if it took me to a coming soon page.
So this new design will be bazillion and one?
