Print brokers aye?

Got a regular print broker who went and got a job printed at another print company.

The other print company screwed up the job real bad, so broker comes to us for a reprint. Broker wants us to reprint the job for next to nothing because the other print company is charged full price for the screwup and the broker has to foot the bill.

Can someone tell me why our print company should suffer because the other print company stuffed up?

The way I see it, the other print company should reprint the job for free. I don't think we should get involved at all. If you screw up a job, you fix it or you don't get paid. Simple.

That's the way it works for us.

If we screw up a job we reprint it, with a bit of luck the customer wont even be aware.

If someone comes to use with a screwed up job we'll reprint it, at full price. It's upto the customer (boker in your case) to get money off at the screw up company.

Those are the brokers that give other brokers a bad name.
He should have the first company fix it. And the first company should fix it for nothing IF it was their screwup and not the Broker's.

I suspect that now too. No self respecting printer would charge full price for a screwed up job and not rectify it.

You guys nailed it, the broker screwed something up and the printer isn't buying it. Or, the broker had Kinkos print the job!:eek: That would explain everything.:D

Kinkos = Hang and bang Fedix printer.
