Print based design - -

Hi everyone.

I am a graphic designer here in the UK with 3 years experience. Next year i am planning on moving over to LA. I am just wanting some advice on the industry out there? LA vs the UK?

I have noticed there are not many design agencies just specialising in design for print. Would it be unusual to find a designer just from a print background and wanting to continue in just a print based direction?

Never been to UK or LA, but perhaps you should search print companies that also do design?

There are lots of studios that only do print design, but you gotta be looking at the right kind of studio. Or if a studio is large enough they will have a division that does only print design. But I don't know any in CA off the top of my head. Maybe Camerota will read this and reply.
