Hello Everyone!

I was wondering if any of you know, or have experience with the new Windows Vista, and the operating system Creative Suite 2? I soon will be upgrading to a better computer system, and have the option on getting windows Vista, or XP. I did notice however that CS2 does not support Windows Vista, but I saw some web pages out there that say that it works fine in Vista, only a few bugs here and there.
Any Advice?
Should I stick with XP...or get vista, and wait for new CS2 software to come out that supports Vista? Is there already an updated CS2 that supports Vista? Help!

shit CS2 is so damn buggy in XP, I would say go for it. You could always try a linux build too, run XP, linux and Vista and boot to which ever one runs better. those are my only suggestions.

i would recommend watever computer you get better be super beefy, with Vista and CS2, the system better have at leats 3-4 gigs of memory and dual processors.

have there been any reports of Windows Vista being slow?

Vista is a memory hog, and CS2 needs lots of memory to work smoothly. D's suggestions about getting at least 3G memory and dual processors are very good ones.

Thanks Guys...I think I'll be safe, and stay with XP...I've never had any problems with XP with my CS software yet, so I'll keep it that way:)

I generally go by the rule: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Or, if there's some huge benefit, then perhaps upgrade. :D
