does anyone here know of a printer that can do non-standard t-shirt printing ... you know, the style that's popular right now where you print offcenter, over the shoulder or around the side?

Right now I'm just gaging the feasibility of it.

If you mean standard type of screen printing, but not in direct frontal, back, or breast placement, I thought most screen printers did that?

As long as you can provide your design on properly laid-out T-shirt template, there shouldn't be a problem?

did you check with Logo-Mechanix?

Not yet, and Ned, I think that's the problem. It's not my job, it's for a lady I work with. She's trying to design a "non-standard" ... "non-centrally placed" design for a shirt.

I guess I just want to be able to help her out and tell her what's feasible and what isn't. From what I can gather, doing a wrap around a side is somewhat feasible, but trying to print over a shoulder is probably not so feasible.

To print on the sleeve, you would just send the printer the design, and tell them where to place it, but to print on the shoulder, because it's over the seam, I think your best bet would be to do a front template and a back template, and join them together.

I'm sure there is something out there that allows over seam printing. Hang on, I'll look and see if I can find out what I'm remembering badly.

This must be the contraption I was thinking of. I wonder if there are many printers out there that use this method or if they use the separate front and back and try to get them to align. Not something I've done before, though I do own quite a few shop bought t shirts with over the shoulder designs, so I am interested in how and who does it.
