Any suggestions on good business of graphic design books for students?
Do not want to get into hiring employees, ethical issues or consulting.
I've looked at covers and few pages online but would like real thoughts.

The first two are more freelancer-friendly. The last two are for a small business. I own them all. If you're just starting out, I'd buy the first two books because they have the most valuable information for someone starting with nothing.
Personally, I believe that starting a graphic design business that goes beyond a sole proprietorship usually means you'll need to research some business basics that are not specific to graphic design. A good starting point for this is Small Business for Dummies (http://www.amazon.com/Small-Business-Dummies-Second-Tyson/dp/0764554816/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-7927823-8070500?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1175315233&sr=1-1). I know you mentioned you're not looking for that, but its an interesting read if you've ever thought of striking out on your own.
